Inviting all Senior rugby players on the Sunshine Coast to play for USC Barbarians Rugby Club in 2025
The UniSC Barbarians Rugby Club is inviting all rugby players to come and play for the mighty Barbarians.
We want to extend an open invite to all players who are thinking of playing seniors rugby this year. You may have never played rugby before, you may be new to the coast, or you may want to find a senior club to play for since leaving school. USC Barbarians Rugby extends a warm welcome to you and hope you will consider playing for the club in season 2025.
Currently there are three grades in Senior Men’s. A Grade, Reserves, and Thirds, and one in women’s. We will be aiming for all sides playing in this year’s final series. The Senior A and Reserve Grade competition for 2025 has 7 teams from Noosa in the north to Wynnum in the south. The Third-Grade competition is played on Friday nights and includes Gympie and Nambour.
Season 2023 was a very successful season for our Seniors club. Both A Grade and Reserve Grade won Premierships right here at home! A massive achievement to all involved! A Grade getting another Three-Peat and Reserves going back-to-back! To win both grades is a true testament to the coaches and playing group
You don’t have to be a uni student to play for USC Rugby. Over 60% of the current squad are not students, with many tradies, professional services, and hospitality workers. So don’t think you need to be a student to play. Our club is diverse in its make-up and welcomes everyone from all backgrounds.
Training is generally on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.00pm at the USC Fields. Email seniors@uscrugby.com.au for more information
